How to Book your trip:

Thank you for your interest in booking your next surf trip to Las Palmeras Surf Camp in Oaxaca! Please follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Get your passport

All visitors MUST have a valid passport to enter the country of Mexico. Before you book your flight, please confirm you have at least 6 months left on your valid passport. Once you are sure your passport is valid, start looking at flights and get in touch with Las Palmeras Surf Camp.

Step 2: Make Contact with Las Palmeras Surf Camp

The first thing you need to do is contact us with your requested dates and number of surfers / travlers. Feel free to email directly or call Josh for more information at 831-588-1306.

Step 3: Confirm Dates and Make Deposit

Once we have confirmed your dates and number of travelers we will need a $500 deposit per person to secure your booking. You can pay by VISA, Mastercard, cash or check. If paying by check, please send checks to:

We ask you pay the remainder of your trip 7 days before your trip.

Step 4: Book your flight

Your final destination will be Huatulco, Mexico. There are a few direct international flights that arrive in Huatulco, but most flights will be routed through Mexico City. Las Palmeras Surf Camp is equipped to handle all of our guests flight details – we will work directly with you to find the appropriate flight and schedule for your group if you need us to. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to handle your travel details on your own. Remember: Your final destination will be Huatulco, Mexico. (Airport code HUX) There are a few direct international flights that arrive in Huatulco, but most flights will be routed through Mexico City. You can fly to Oaxaca City, but it’s 6 hours away by taxi.

For a fast search, try kayak.com and remember that the airport code for Huatulco is HUX. We find that the easiest airline to deal with is Aeromexico. Also important to note, you can pay for your boards in advance which is currently $75.00 each way domestic and $150.00 international. More info here:

Step 5: Make final payment

Your final payment is due 7 days prior to your trip’s departure. Show up for your flight! Rule #1 is to remember to not miss your flight… believe us, it can happen to anyone. Once you’ve made it on to your flight and landed in Huatulco we will be there to pick you up and your vacation will officially begin!

PLEASE NOTE: If you miss your flight and we have to come later than expected to pick you up or if you come alone when no other pickups or drop offs are scheduled, there will be a $100.00 charge.

Surf and enjoy!
Once you’re at the resort almost everything is taken care of… practically the only thing you need to worry about is what board you should ride, if you are wearing enough sunblock, or drinking enough water. For full details on Las Palmeras Surf Camp accommodations and lodging, click here:

Reservation information:

Las Palmeras Surf Camp does not assume responsibility for those inherent risks which may cause unfortunate accidents or incidents during ordinary travel conditions. Las Palmeras Surf Camp will not be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, delay, cost, expense, or inconvenience arising from travel misfortunes beyond our control.

Deposits:
A $500 deposit is due at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be used towards a future trip. (Must be used within two years from date of receipt) Final Payment is due at least 14 days prior to departure and is non-refundable. Payment may be paid by cash, personal check, money order, Visa, Mastercard or bank transfer. Please make out personal checks to: Mulcoy Travel.

Any form of payment constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated on this site.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Unless otherwise specified all tour deposits and payments are non-refundable. There are no refunds or partial refunds given for early departures or checkouts from any tour, charter, expedition, or other trip. There are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to surf or weather conditions. There are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to political instability.

Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance is a good option, but not mandatory.

Documents:
Passports must be valid from the date of departure. If applicable, a valid visa is required for travel. Currently there is no need for a visa from the US, but if traveling from other countries please check.

Airline Related Information:
Las Palmeras Surf Camp is not responsible for airline board fees or baggage policies. Las Palmeras Surf Camp does not accept any responsibility for late arrival or non-arrival of surfboards/surfboard bags or any other luggage. (Las Palmeras Surf Camp has extra equipment that can be loaned if necessary.)

Health:
Las Palmeras Surf Camp is not responsible for health problems arising from environmental factors during your stay in Mexico or at the camp. Please click here for information on the current state of Mexico and health according to the United States Government.

Responsibility:

Las Palmeras Surf Camp will use all due care for the provision of its services and activities provided to guests. Guests participate in activities and use services at Las Palmeras Surf Camp at their own risk. No liability or responsibility is accepted by Las Palmeras Surf Camp for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, expense, or any other claim arising from involvement in any activities or provision of any services howsoever suffered, even in circumstances where staff of Las Palmeras Surf Camp may have negligently breached any duty of care that it or they may owe or have owed in connection with such activities, conduct, supervision, or the provision of services.

Las Palmeras Surf Camp will not be liable for direct or indirect losses, arising from any such injury, illness, damage, loss accident, or expense including consequential loss or economic loss however caused.
